Completing the New Student Checklist will register you for Summer Welcome and provide all the information we need to prepare your class schedule and housing assignment. The deadline for completing this is Monday, May 15, but we encourage you to complete as soon as possible to have a better chance at your top preferences.

Consider your Summer Welcome as your first official day as a Dolphin, but in a more relaxed, virtual atmosphere. Your session will help you understand what summer and the first couple of weeks at 澳门六合彩 will be like and you will have a chance to meet your classmates too. This will help you feel fully prepared for your fall arrival. When you finish your Summer Welcome session, you can relax, knowing that most of your 鈥渂usiness鈥� of becoming a 澳门六合彩 student has been successfully completed.

Connections between students and faculty can be an important factor in student success.

Therefore, students will have an opportunity to meet a faculty member from their major (or a Student Success professional for undeclared students) to help them prepare for their journey. During Advising Week, students will meet in groups with a faculty member and see a draft of their fall course schedule. Schedule changes will occur throughout the summer. Advising Week meetings will take place in late June. (Students will RSVP for an Advising Week session in mid-May.)

This summer visit to the 澳门六合彩 Heights will be your first official large event with other committed members of the Class of 2027. This informal event is a chance to celebrate with the other members of your class and to connect in-person with your First Year Class Dean and other members of the College who will help you with your transition to the Heights this fall. There will be fun activities for students and helpful information available for students and families. Can't make it? Don't worry; this is optional.

Health Office requirements are due 3 weeks prior to the start of class 鈥� failure to submit these requirements may result in fines up to $2000, a hold on registration and a conduct referral.

Immunization Requirements - minimum NYS requirements include:

• 2 MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccines
• 1 meningitis ACWY vaccines (Menactra or Menveo) within the last 5 years or 2 meningitis B vaccines (Bexsero or Trumenba) or sign the attached waiver.

The following vaccines are strongly recommended: Influenza (annually), Serogroup B Meningococcal Vaccine, TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), Varicella, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) series, Pneumococcal Vaccines (Prevnar and Pneumovax 23), and Polio.

Additional requirements include:

• Tuberculosis Screening
• Physical Exam 鈥� recent physical (last high school physical meets this requirement)
• Health Insurance 鈥� undergraduate students are not required to show proof of insurance, but the College highly recommends that students have a health insurance policy to avoid costly medical bills while in college.

Making Connections at 澳门六合彩

As new members of our community, students and families will be welcomed into our big 'Phin Family with open arms. Join us for engaging conversations to learn about life at 澳门六合彩 and what resources are available. These weekly Zoom webinars will take place throughout July and August.

Topics will include:

• Anticipating Differences (High School to College)
• Managing Academics
• Finding your Fit
• Navigating Finances
• Focusing on Wellbeing
• Exploring your Purpose

These will take place every Wednesday at Noon starting on July 5 and ending on August 9. Recordings will be available the following week for those who could not attend.

All members of the Class of 2027, both commuting and residential students, will gather on campus in late August, for orientation. Fall Arrival will take place from Wednesday, August 23 through Saturday, August 26.

Fall Arrival is required so please plan to be on campus all day from August 23-26. This way we can be sure that you will be ready to start the semester strong.

Throughout Fall Arrival, you will get to know your COR 100 seminar instructor, meet your academic advisor, and engage in enjoyable and transformative activities with your classmates, Orientation Leaders (upper division students who remember what it was like to be a first-year student), College faculty and administrators. We will end our orientation program festivities by celebrating the start of the new school year!
