Didactic Year:听
The didactic curriculum reflects the overarching philosophy of the entire program -- the bio-psycho-social approach to patient care. Case review and analysis sharpens clinical skills in a safe learning environment. Lectures, seminars and discussion groups are blended with laboratory exercises and 鈥渉ands-on鈥� physical examination skills to round out the first year experience.听

Clinical Year:
The 12-month clinical curriculum is comprised of nine听rotations that include experiences in: medicine, primary care, pediatrics, women's health/ambulatory care, surgery, emergency medicine, behavioral medicine, and two听electives in either a surgical or medical specialty.听听
Multiple sites are utilized and multiple specialties are represented. Each rotation examines the concepts of 鈥渉ealth and wellness鈥� in various settings and in ways uniquely sensitive to the prevailing cultural climate.听
