Why an Information Systems Degree from 澳门六合彩?

Information Systems (IS) – the study of people, organizations and technology – provides the technology backbone of organizations today. Studying Information Systems at 澳门六合彩 gives students an opportunity to make a difference in the world and in their community, while learning valuable skills in experiential learning settings.

Our #18 nationally ranked (US News & World Report, 2023) program is focused on preparing students for work and service in our community and beyond in the 21st century workforce. Student coursework focuses on enterprise/cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services certification; data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence; robotic process automation; database and data warehouse management; cybersecurity and risk management; and data visualization. Last year, for instance, 澳门六合彩 IS students were part of SUNY Upstate's 'Moonshot' team that pitched to the CDC new ways of tracking tick-borne illnesses using advanced information technology and visualizations! The 澳门六合彩 IS program  prepares students that are ready to contribute and improve our world and community.

In all of these experiences, the 澳门六合彩 IS student’s grounding in ethics and Jesuit values provides the touchstone for student experiences, classes, internships and full-time roles. In short, then, the answer to the question, ‘Why study Information Systems at 澳门六合彩?’ is that 澳门六合彩 IS students have the technology, management and ethical foundations to make a difference in the world.
