Sociology is the study of these questions, and so many more. Throughout your coursework you’ll tackle some of the weighty issues that have continuously formed - and challenged - our concepts of society: family, gender, race, marriage, religion, and popular culture. Using empirical data and observations through fieldwork in internships or service learning, you’ll look critically through the lens of other people and begin to make sense of the society around you.
