History majors at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê deepen their research skills, ability to critically analyze source material, and communicate their findings in class discussion and research papers. History majors also develop a global and historically informed perspective increasingly important in a fast-changing world. With their emphasis on critical reading, problem solving, and communication, history majors are well prepared to succeed in a variety of fields. And, with 30 credits of free electives, history majors are able to pursue minors, additional language study, or other courses of interest to prepare themselves for personal and career opportunities after graduation.
